The Texas Christian Schools Association grew out of a group of Christian schools across the state affiliated with the Churches of Christ. Dr. Steven Bonner is the Associate Professor of Youth, Family, & Culture at Lubbock Christian University where he trains, prepares, and equips future ministers to effectively step into the lives of youth and their families. With nearly 17 years of ministry experience (to include 22 years of marriage with 3 children now aged- 21, 15, & 12), Steve's passion is to see young people come to a healthy community-based relationship with Christ. His research interests include the study of youth culture, adolescent psycho-social development, precocious puberty, student athletics, and intergenerational spiritual formation.read more
